Export components wizard in Editor

Using version 10.5 of Installshield.

Has anyone used this to create merge modules with? It looks good, but does it have any 'gotcha's?

Yes it does work

One gocha is that it scrambles the Progid_Default column of the Class Table by adding the MSM decoration unnecessary. Go to the class table in direct editor to fix. This has been fixed in InstallShield12

It also copies the reference to the file as-is so you may need to meddle with the Path Variables too.
