'Distribute Application' Grayed Out

All,

Our Application Manager 12 (AdminStudio 2013) installation is configured to connect to our CM2012 SP1 primary in Options->Distribution System dialog as described in the help documentation. When right-clicking on any application in the application catalog the 'Distribute Application' context menu is grayed out. We can however right-click at the MSI level and 'Distribute Package'.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue with AdminStudio 2013 and SCCM 2012 SP1?



Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you click the 'Test' button in the Distribution System view and check if it connects to SCCM successfully?

I tried several times to test the connection and thought that it had succeeded. It seems it was successfully connecting to the share but not the primary. I re-pasted the name of the server several times and the test still failed. Finally the last time I pasted it I clicked in the blank and scrolled through each character and this time it was successful!!
