I have been trying to repackage the Adobe Acrobat 5.05 Full version with Destiller and PDF Writer, but with no success regarding the Printer and the Destiller.
When running the initial setup.exe trough InstallShield Adminstudio 5.0, the Destiller Printer and the PDF Printer, installes. After completing the package(msi file as well), and installing the MSi file to a fresh pc/vmware image, without ever installing Adobe before, it installes without any problems, but the Printers are not added. So, the part about making the PDF documents either via the Destiller Printer or the PDF writer, does not work. I have worked with this problem on Terminal Servers, using Citrix MetaFrame XPe before, and managed to get via Installation Manager from Citrix, the PDF-Writer to work, but not the Destiller, so I know it is a repackaging issue with these 2 components of the Adobe Package.
Could anybody give me a hand, or tips as to how to fix this problem?:confused:
