Summary Data Mashup enables the addition of custom columns to IT Visibility. This allows you to link custom data such as business information and environment to normalized devices, hardware, and software. When complete, the linked data is surfaced in IT Visibility Data Explorer and can be used in custom insights and reporting. Note: In this release, the custom data can be accessed only in the IT Visibility UI and is not available via export or API. IT Asset Management allows you to ignore inventory records if these should not be included in your inventory result set – for example, if the inventory record is known to be inaccurate but it’s not feasible to delete the inaccurate record from the inventory source. Inventory linked to retired or disposed assets is automatically ignored by FNMS. Devices ignored in your IT Asset Management environment now are also filtered from your IT Visibility inventory data set when IT Visibility is connected to IT Asset Management. IT Asset Management allows you to associate inventory records with organizational groups. This allows hardware and software to be related to your organizational structure in terms of locations, corporate units, and cost centers. Now, the associations between organizational groups and inventory records created in IT Asset Management are also provided with exports of inventory data directly from IT Visibility when it is connected to IT Asset Management.
