Cloudscape gives us details about number of CPU only or does it considers number of cores also per CPU for both physical and virtual servers?

You can view the Total CPUs and Total Cores in both the Total Cost of Ownership Report and the Server Inventory Report.
Total Cost of Ownership can be found under Add Intelligence.
Server Inventory can be found under Add Intelligence >>> Available Reports.
