I have setup MFA and still cannot login and keeps asking me to enter MFA details

 

Answer:

The customer will get stuck in a loop of providing the MFA email and telephone number for MFA and when they get the finalization email and click the link it takes them back to the page to enter the telephone number and email for MFA. The loop is caused by issues with caching in browsers. The repair is simple and is below:

 

  • Log in to https://portal.riscnetworks.comwith your user login and password using an Incognito Web browsing session.
  • When the MFA registration screen appears, enter the desired cellphone, email, and device preference and submit them. Leave this same browser window/tab open.
  • Wait for the confirmation email to be delivered. Upon delivery, *do not* click the link; instead, copy the link and paste it in the browser window/tab you used to enter you MFA registration preferences, and then hit Enter.
