Answer:
This error is due to the vSphere client does not support SHA256. An alternative is to deploy the RN150 using VMware Player/Workstation or by following the instructions in the link below to use the OVF tool to update the image:

This issue is caused because the RISC Networks platform no longer supports SHA1 for the Virtual Appliance and only supports SHA256.
