How to install Public beacon-internet facing in flexera one?

I need to install and configure Public beacon in flexera one for our client.

How to do that?

And how it is different from normal beacons?

Let me know ASAP  as i need to this urgently

Hi,

It's possible you need to enable public IP for you beacon server. Then follow these steps https://community.flexera.com/t5/FlexNet-Manager-Knowledge-Base/How-to-configure-the-beacon-to-use-a-different-name-or-alias/ta-p/2064

If you don't need to used SSL certificate, then make changes on agent config file for the same.

Please consider speaking to someone with Web Application Firewall (WAF) experience, to figure out the details. I would strongly advice against putting an IIS directly out to the internet without additional layers of protection.
