When the FlexNet inventory agent is configured to collect Oracle Fusion Middleware audit data, inventory NDI files that are generated and uploaded may contain additional embedded content which is not strictly necessary to be included as part of the audit data. This can result in NDI files being larger than would otherwise be normal (especially on Windows operating systems), potentially growing to be several megabytes in size.

Hello
We encountered this problem with the FNMS application in version 2023 R1. Flexera told us that it was related to the agent version. So is this really an application problem or an application+agent problem.
Can we re-enable this option with agents older than version 17 with application in version 2023 R2?
@didiercottereau - this issue affects the agent. The FlexNet Manager Suite application server version has no impact on whether or not you will encounter the issue; the agent version is all that matters.
If you enable the option to gather Oracle FMW data with 17.0 (2021 R1) agents then you are likely to be affected by this issue and/or other similar issues noted in the "Related information" section of this article.
