Inventory NDI files generated by the lightweight Kubernetes agent may contain a date of 0001/01/01 which will cause them to fail to be imported into the inventory database.
The lightweight Kubernetes agent may generate inventory NDI files with an invalid date of 1 Jan 0001. For example, this would appear as follows in the inventory NDI file:
<Inventory DateTime="00010101T000000">
This is an invalid date, and will cause the inventory NDI file to fail to be imported into the inventory database.
This issue has been addressed by modifying the lightweight Kubernetes agent to reliably include the actual date in generated inventory NDI files.
This issue has been fixed in the following FlexNet Manager Suite releases: 2021 R1.4 / Mar 2022 (Cloud), 2022 R1 (On Premises)
Affected components: Agent, Containers, Inventory
Master issue ID: IOJ-2234087
Also known as: FNML-74794

Hello,
I have install full K8S agent in cluster. May I know which components (controller or nodes) will generate and upload *.ndi files of K8S inventory and how many .ndi files will be generate? Is it have command to run manually to check if it upload success or not?
Do they be uploaded on beacon the same time with other agents?
Thank you.
@aaaaaa - for reference, see an answer to the above query in the following post: Inventories uploaded by full Kubernetes agent
