Hi,
You can start by checking if file scan is enabled at all and if, for which folders.
You can then compare the "Raw Software Usage" data with the file evidences. Some ideas what could be:
You'll need to figure out where exactly the problem is, to then work it out.
Regarding your entitlement buffer, have you checked the "Compliance Trend" report? If there's data for the past, you might be able to extrapolate future growth from it.

Hi, We have scenario like this,
We have purchased 115 adobe license for creative cloud where 86 has been allocated & consumed and used value is 0. Where Raw usage count shows 119.
We have renewal on next week? what will be recommendation count you suggest. from this value i cant able to derive the number correctly.
We dont have much demand in future for this application, Can we go for 10% buffer of the installation count? is it recommended

Hi,
Regarding usage and raw usage, this can be tricky at times. If files do not match correctly, or file evidence was not set up correctly, you can end with atlot of "raw" data nad FNMS still showing nothing. However, if the raw software usage seems legit and you need to make a decission, you can still consume it "manually". A bit of complexity will be in it because the raw data refers to machines and the usage model should be per user. You should still be able to figure it out.
For the last question, I am not sure what you plan to do or what exactly you mean by "buffer". If you could elaborate a bit more, manybe someone will be able to give a recommendation.
Best regards,
Markward

Thank you for writing on this,
Buffer here is we have kept 10% from the current utilization to address the future demand. For example, we have 100 license utilization we will buy 110( 10% bufffer to address the future demand).
f files do not match correctly, or file evidence was not set up correctly, you can end with atlot of "raw" data nad FNMS still showing nothing. - Is there any steps how to address this issue? I would like to check on this in envrionment.
