History cleanup

We noticed the history table in our FNMS instance is getting quite big and I know there is no automatic cleanup process. I plan on deleting old history but I was wondering if there are some Flexera recommendation about what should we keep? For example I know that for IBM we should keep 2 years of backlog, Microsoft 90 days, etc. Is there a general recommendation regarding how far back should we keep data, so that I don't have to split it by vendors?

I'd generally suggest keeping at least a few years of history in case you want to refer back to it in the future.

In case it helps, the following thread contains some discussion about how to delete history data: History table deletion scripts
