FNMS on MS SQL Server 2022 - Flexera signed Certificated needed?

Hi all,
i am wondering if we need to implement the flexera signed certificate into the MS SQl server. We didn't find some information in the official requirements. Also, the downloadable certificate runs out at Sep. 4th 2024. Does FNMS 2024R1 provides a new certificate, or how does it work in future?
Thanks for the information from the swarm intelligence 🙂

Best regards,
Steve

Hi all,
regarding the Signed Certificate Issue the engineering confirmed, that the new version of the Flexera Signed Certificate will be packaged with the upcoming 2024R1 release of FNMS.
Means, as long as you run your FNMS databases with "THRUSTWORTHY" property set to "ON", you will need to take care about an update after the new release.
Many thanks to the support guys.

So does this mean for a release before 2024R1 that this certificate has to be imported into SQL Server?  I'm not 100% sure I follow.

As far as i understood that correctly, yes. Cause the certificate included in the older release packages are only valid until Sep. 4th 2024.
