FlexNet Manager Platform / Suite – SKU, PURL & Bundle updates (Release #528)

The SKU, Product Use Rights Libraries (PURL) and Bundles libraries, used by FlexNet Manager Suite have been updated. For on premise customers the SKU/PURL/Bundles libraries have been published and are now available.

Customers of FlexNet Manager Suite Cloud will have this update applied by the Recognition Data Import task and was available on Monday, October 23^rd 2023 in your time zone.

What's new in this release?

• 8,254 new SKUs have been added to the SKU library. The following table provides an overview of the number of SKUs with respect to publisher:

• 811 SKUs are mapped to its respective applications.
• SKUs missing PURL templates have been worked upon and 5,959 SKUs are linked to its license templates. Details on number of SKUs covered across each publisher:

• 152 SKU manufacturers have been updated to sync across all libraries.

• 8 new custom FLX SKUs – 4 Adobe and 4 Microsoft SKUs have been created and released to supplement FSM workflow for the respective products and cater to customer requests. SKUs details are available in attached spreadsheet 'CustomFlexeraSKUsForOctober2023.xlsx'.
• 1 new bundle 'IBM Storage Fusion 2.6' has been published. 
• Library information are as follows:
• Total number of SKUs in the library is 2,055,991 across 1,533 publishers.
• Total number of PURL templates is 4,965 across 64 publishers.
• Total number of published Bundles is 4,514 across 25 publishers.

How can I verify that my SKU Library has been updated?

You can inspect the changed data in the SKU Library with the SKU Library Update Report. The regular schedule for SKU/PURL updates

We expect the next update to the PURL & SKU Library to be available on Friday, November 24^th 2023. The libraries are available as soon as published and are updated daily via the Recognition Data Import task, or as otherwise reflected in your local configuration. Customers of FlexNet Manager Suite Cloud will have this update applied by Monday, November 27^th 2023 in your time zone.

Downloading the SKU/PURL Libraries Manually

The SKU/PURL library updates can be downloaded from the Flexera Product and Licensing Center (PLC 2.0).
