The native table integration into ServiceNow populates a 'software category' field. However, it appears to actually to be the same data as the 'sub-category' field within the Data Platform solution. The native table's category field does not match up with the 'software category' field within Data Platform. Further, the custom Flexera Software model table in ServiceNow has both category and sub-category fields that match up with Data Platform.
Is this expected behavior? I would like to understand why we could not get both category and sub-category fields in the native table.
