Data Platform Site and Binding info?

Is there any information on Data Platform IIS site and binding information? I didn't see really any information on the config/installation guide about these and after setting up the data platform admin console I don't see any sites in IIS other than the Default Web Site. Anybody have an example of their IIS settings or have documentation for this?

Hi @StefanGrisham , sorry for the late response.

Data Platform and User Console will take the top one on the binding list IIS as the default protocol for Data Platform Admin and User Console website.  Bindings needs to be set up properly before running the Data Platform and User Console configure wizard as documented in online doc.

https://docs.flexera.com/dataplatform/UserConsoleInstallGuide/Content/helplibrary/IIS_Settings.htm?Highlight=iis%20settings

If you don't see BDNA websites in IIS, the data platform application might be configured to use IIS Express instead of Native IIS during installation. You can open the Data Platform configure wizard to confirm.

If you need any further assistance regarding IIS settings, feel free to log a support case.

Hi @StefanGrisham, no worries about the response time! Thanks for the detailed explanation. I'll check the IIS bindings as you suggested and go through the documentation you linked. It’s good to know that the Data Platform might be using IIS Express—I'll confirm that through the configure wizard as well.

If I run into any more issues, I’ll definitely log a support case. Thanks again for your help!
