Connect_it scenario for Existing customer Import Data Platform Hardware v5.5

If you have an existing customer using the Connect_it scenario for Existing customer Import Data Platform Hardware v5.5 and there are existing asset tags how do you use this scenario? 

Primary key is Asset Tag and the scenario is creating duplicates in Asset Manager!
