Flexera Community Release 8.22.21

8.22.21 was a significant release for the Flexera Community with a handful of new features as well as bug fixes and minor tweaks.

New Features

Threaded Discussions and Inline Replies: To better organize discussions and keep context meaningful, we have introduced an Inline Replies and Threading feature. With Inline replies, you can reply to another reply and continue the discussion in a separate, single thread.

Subscribe Button: To make it easier to subscribe to the content you’re interested in, we’ve added a Subscribe button. The button will appear in different areas of the community like blogs, forums, TKBs, and more! When you’re already subscribed to content, the button will instead say “Unsubscribe.

Minor Changes

Gear and Hamburger Menus: To make things simpler, we’ve replaced the ☰ Subscribe

menu with a (gear) menu to represent the options menu related to the thread (or the entire post) whereas the (hamburger) menu will represent the options menu related to the post.

Private Messages: We’ve adjusted the private message experience so the message history no longer appears truncated and is easier to read and use.
