prevalidated Office XP MSI => 463 errors

Hello everyone!

Straight away, I 'm a newbie, so forgive me if my question is trivial, but I 'm sort of stuck and I 'd appreciate any advice.

As I prevalidated Office XP Professional US ( PROPLUS.MSI) with Tuner from AdminStudio 3.5, I received 463 errors, not to mention the warnings!

Maybe I goofed the installation of AdminStudio, maybe I totally missed a point in using that tool, I don't know. But if the mistake is not on my side, am I supposed to find out what all the errors derive from and correct them myself? Has anybody experienced similar problems? What can be done here?

Any hints, comments, suggestions are very much appreciated!

if you mean the original from microsoft, without altering anything, then no you didnt make a mistake.

I have checked (because i had nothing better to do one day) about 20 of microsofts MSI packages and not one of them passed validation. makes you wonder doesn't it...Try the MSI for windowsxp admin toolkit :)) makes me wonder how it even installs.

hmm

ice33 and ice36(??) can be safely ignored.

as for the rest, it is your call. The basic size of it is, something might not work..but then it is MS, what do you expect 😉
