Uncompressed TRANSFORM

I am trying to create a TRANSFORM on the vendor msi. I converted msi to .ism files in order to convert from thick to thin msi. Then created a TRANSFORMS and added a file. Now installshield created a cab file. I remember in wise i could check something under media section to keep the thin msi. Where is this setting in installshield not to create cab files?

I am trying to keep TRANSFORM uncompressed.

Actually, it asks you what you want to do when you add a file to a transform using InstallShield, asking "In a new *.cab file", "Uncompressed", etc.

I think this might differ if you're using Tuner, though. Generally anything more advanced will need to be done with InstallShield.

Now, if you're doing this in the *.ism project, it won't prompt you, since how the setup gets built is dependant on the release settings.
