Security Architecture of Package Feed Module in Flexera Admin Studio

Thank you for your time. We are currently talking to the enterprise architecture team to get the approval to implement Flexera Admin Studio in the workplace. Here are some security concerns raised by them. It would be much appreciated if you have an answer for the questions below.

1. How does the package feed module verify the authenticity of the Secunia site?
2. What practices are in place to ensure this service is secured?

The Package Feed Module reaches out to https://dl.csi7.secunia.com

https://community.flexera.com/t5/AdminStudio-Forum/Package-Feed-module-URL/td-p/120353

As that is a secure URL using HTTPS, it also has a certificate for the https connection that should verify it's authenticity.
