Patch as a nested installation

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to include a patch (MSP) in a MSI package as a nested installation.

If the answer is yes, what is the best way to do this?

As far as I know, the Windows Installer nested-installation custom action types support launching only a child MSI package, and not an MSP patch file.
