Nested Installation Custom Action

I am trying to launch a MSI within another MSI. I keep getting a "1723 - internal error" message. I have the MSI placed to launch after the InstallFinal custom action. I have tried both including the binary stream and also including it within my first package. Has anyone ever done this successfully?

Hello adminJoe,

Can you install both setup independently? You get error 1723 when calling the wrong function using DLL custom action. It is possible that one of the custom action in your setup is failing to call the function in DLL.
