The upgrade path generally is to uninstall the old copy of AdminStudio, and install the new copy. On connecting to the AS database the first time, it will upgrade the 9.x database to the 10.x schema. For posterity, you will want to back up your AdminStudio Shared folder, and your copy of the AdminStudio database.
There might be a few different considerations, however, if you are using the Server pieces like AES. Is this the case?
