How To Package IIS 5.1

I have a request to create a msi that installs IIS 5.1. I used the Repackager to take a snap shot of the install. The msi gets created but when I test run the msi I get a message that says "Could not access Network Location for Administrative Tools". Does anyone know what this error means?

Does anyone know a way to package IIS 5.1?

I'm running XP and IIS 5.1 is a component of XP.

Thanks,
Dominic

Well, I suspect that the error you are recieving can be easily addressed.

However, since protected OS files might be updated by things added by Add/Remove Programs' Windows Components view, I wouldn't expect repackaging IIS to work in any clean fashion. This recommendation is documented here:

ISICE06:
http://helpnet.macrovision.com/robo/projects/installshield12helplib/ISICE06.htm

"If your product requires newer versions of system components, the components must be updated on target machines by using a Microsoft service pack or a Microsoft-approved installation package that contains the system component. System components should not be repackaged."
There is a command line utility that can install iis on the machine. Unfortunately that is outside of InstallShield so it is nothing we support, and I have no experience using it.

Here is more info just in case:
