Error while launching app-v package for testing using automated application converter

Hi,

I am new to this adminstudio tool. I have just started to learn this tool few days before.I have created the appv package using the automated package converter. When i try to test the appv package by "Launch the package for testing", I am getting error as "Error 4389 controlling virtual machine: Failed connecting to server: 0x065b (LE:0000 XE:55f1 in CVirtualMachineController::Create:88)"

Kindly help me to overcome this error.

Do you have the VMWare VIX API installed on the machine that's running Adminstudio? The AAC needs that in order to communicate with your VMWare host.

Yes the VMWare Vix is installed and the version is 1.11.0.1897.

I used the VMware-vix-1.11.0-471780.exe without any problem
