AdminStudio Application Catalogue 2013 creation error for DBA

Hi ,

Need help/advise.

I am trying to setup Application Catlogue using Adminstudio and our DBA team is creating the database / installing scripts for us.

I have given the following scripts and have requested our DBA to install in the same order as mentioned in helpnet.

AMS_System_Schema.SQL
AMS_System_Schema.SQL
AMSCreateIndex.SQL
WFM_SampleTemplates.SQL
AS_System_Schema.SQL
Seed_Data.SQL
CustomReportWizard.SQL
AS_TestCenter.SQL
AS_TestEngine.SQL
Reporting.StoredProcedures.SQL

But my DBA has mentioned that it fails in Seed_Data.sql looking for Asjob .

Any help to overcome this issue would be very much appreciated.

Many Thanks

you can also ask your DBA to give the useraccount who is doing the install TEMPORARY sysadmin rights to create the catalog.
after the install you can downgrade the permissions to read / write on the database itself.

takes only 2-3 minutes of the DBA's life;-)

Hi Jaybee,

Thanks a lot for your response.

Our DBA is not happy to provide elevated privileges even for installation purposes as the server accomodates lots of other application acorss the organization.

Hence I requested for a SQL server (where there are no other instances) where I can initiate installation through application and later maybe import the database to Live server. I was given a VMware Sql server and installation went through fine and all done in less than 3 minutes as you have mentioned 🙂

I tried to import few apps and run through the tests in test center to know the virtualisation readiness but , I dont get that tab in test center although we have professional License. Have contacted for the same.

many Thanks
Good Luck!
