Software Evidence information can be easily 'customized' via repackaging process by user company or even due to a careless job done by software vendor without putting detailed version / edition info on the evidence level. Ideally it's better to log in that specific machine reporting this software and confirm the version from machine level. I will feel surprised that Flexera agent can still capture inventory on those old OS machine if it's real version 1 of acrobat which is release in 1993 ? 🙂

My faded memory once I clear the chrome/IE cached data , likely clean up too completely....then I realized my saved view/pages from FlexeraOne are gone. Not sure if it's applicable to your scenario @EHacking

In theory it's possible to have two different version & edition SQL Server installed on the same machine. eg: 2008 Express + 2012 Standard . Maybe open a support ticket the friendly Flexera support engineer will guide you how to investigate and narrow down to the issue whether it's caused by this content library update or simply a truth of what have been installed ...

All right, this OS Lang code eg:1033 ...interesting, I searched the entire importProcedure doesn't seem the import does anything from this field. I guess FNMS doesn't use this OS language from inventory manager at the moment. Also even the FileEvidence has the field for language code, but as it's not part of the primary key of the File Evidence, so I guess currently the first exe file we receive with the lang code will take the spot and prevent the same file with other language code being created.
Maybe an enhancement request 🙂

Hope this online menu is what you are looking for regarding to the direct integration. https://docs.flexera.com/flexera/EN/SaaSManager/SaaSIntegrations.htm You can see the app name list from the left pane while the online help is open.
Indirect integration is for any cloud app is n't available for direct integration, but can setup connection via the Single Sign On cloud app such as Okta , Azure connection. In general if the company enable SSO feature with those provider tool, which can measure the user access to the application. Such information will be utilize by Saas Manager as app access but called Indirect integration as the cloud app itself not yet can be direct connected.

This is a very exciting new feature in Saas Manager M365 connections. It definitely helps organization to make decision of which user can be downgrade based on mailbox/onedrive used size etc.
May I please confirm whether those New Saas feature eg: Mailbox/OneDrive used size now can be imported into F1 ITAM overnight ? As Flexera does emphasize the Saas <> ITAM to manager O365 hybrid as this tool. It will be great ITAM can see those new Saas Manager data instead of requiring a separate ITAM Enhancement ?

Thank you for your reply. Those two licenses were showing 0 on usage. I have manually added the workaround by adding the 'Power IB Unspecific' title (arl://MGS-APP-00000414917) into those two licenses. As I know (by checking DB from an on premise system)...ImportedInstallerEvidence from Saas Manager connection...there are a handful of IE will be imported. Then FNMS Content team will link evidence to the Software title. The key problem of missing usage is the Software Title containing Saas evidence may/may not included in the ITAM Saas manager license created by reconcile. In this case the "Power BI Unspecific' title wasn't included in those Power BI Licenses.
Secondly It looks like we still require the 'installation' established first from the license grid, then usage will be reported. If you see the license "Microsfot - " with named user type are mostly from Saas Connection. The consumed one without usage is due to inside application linked by product, none of them has installation. For example , Dynamic 365 ...similar to Power BI, we do imported raw evidence from Saas , but the product doesn't link evidence to title which included in any licenses.
I have reported this to support , the idea is the customer will expect usage should comes through automatically. But in reality to see the usage, we need to make sure the Installation of title ; as well as that title need be included in Saas Licenses. Both of them should be taken care by product, but for now some are missing and requiring manually linkage.

May I please ask a simple scenario regarding this IBM SKU clean up, For instance, an old/deprecated IBM SKU AAA was cleaned up, and ideally have the newer/correct SKU BBB in the SKU library.
What does the product present if the customer put 'AAA' in the Purchase Order Partner No field during PO creation? will FNMS return information from BBB or it returns 'not recognized' SKU outcome?
IBM has their commercial reason to retire old SKU which make sense, but Flexera SKU library provides a wiki/data look up service to help customer understand what it is/was .... thoughts?
BTW, The customer may send a new content submission when they see 'AAA" is not recognized 🙂 , thoughts? May be it worth providing a Deleted SKU list so that at least to avoid the re-content submission ?

May I please confirm Flexera two component's integration shall bring Saas User's app access date as Usage into ITAM license ?
Pier to documentation, the impression is it should ( Saas manager user's last activity (access date)) will be imported as 'last used date' via overnight import. https://docs.flexera.com/fnms/EN/InvAdapConn/index.html#adapters/FSM/topics/FSM-DataMapping.html
But what we see is the ITAM license 'Used' tab is 0
Can Flexera confirm
1. We shall expect to see reasonable 'Used' amount in ITAM license 'used' column after the integration, correct?
2. It shouldn't require the 'traditional' FNMS (app installation + Usage via agent and make sure exe file assigned etc) , is that correct?

We have some accounts that only purchased Saas Manager and then used it to integrate with their On Premise FlexNet Manager Suite.
We would like to understand the Flexera licensing model from this Saas Manager,
1. How does Saas Manager calculate its Flexera licensing quantity here? any formula etc?
2. More specifically, say 1,000 subscription User based license, does it allow managing Maxiumum 1000 users under HR roster? or only import 1000 users from each cloud application integration? or say only allow 1000 users to log in Saas Manager?
From what I can see the license number doesn't restrain either HR roster active employee ...nor any saas application imported user counts....
Could anyone confirm ? Ideally from Flexera team?
