Does anyone know if $PROGRAMS_DIR$ is always set to "Program Files" on Windows, or if it's actually set to the Windows environment variable "ProgramFiles" which can changed based on the Locale?

When I select the Check For Updates option I get an error saying that it's unable to connect to the server. I can ping the server so I know this isn't a network issue.

Can someone tell me which "components" get stored in the Regisgry? I have an intaller that has multiple components that get installed. But when I look in the Registry the only component is the InstallAnywhere VM Component. ---------------------------...

Is there a way to not uninstall an extracted zip? I need to be able to use the files extracted from the zip in the Pre-Uninstall, and then based on User input remove or not remove the files as part of the Uninstall.
