What does it mean when an asset is labeled as "RISCdecom"?
Answer:
Devices are categorized as 'RISC-Decom' when a rescan has occurred and 'View Changes' was selected for the rescan, and the device did not respond successfully. (Timeouts, NTStatus Errors other than 'Access Denied', connection errors, etc)
You can use the SSH and Windows validation feature to ensure the device is reachable from the RN150 device and that the remote device successfully responds to each query.
Once the issue is resolved, you will need to request a rescan with 'View Changes' enabled. Devices will be re-inventoried if communication is restored.
