Not sure what option to choose. I need the information on the FQDN for the following IP address i.e.
Backup & Growth (34.192.99.153, 34.192.185.36)
We are putting in FlexDeply implementation and the question came up what is the FQDN for the mentioned IP addresses and if these are really needed for the flexdeploy implementation.
Appreciate your response.
Thanks.

Hi Farooq,
I'm not clear on what your deployment approach is, but when using the FlexDeploy option, the "application server" will be hosted in your environment, rather than Flexera Cloud. Therefore, the external connections that you mention in the
https://docs.flexera.com/foundationcloudscape/help/RCDeployReq.htm#overview_3961184347_1118536
Are not typically required. If you contact your Flexera representative, this can be clarified further.

Thanks for the response.
I will contact the representative for sure.
Our deployment approach is Flexdeploy.
I have been told, the access you mentioned is needed for licenses activation, install, patches ( even for FelxDeploy ) but for the Backup and Growth, we were not very clear and looking for FQDN. Are you saying, none of the access ( or internet access ) is needed mentioned in the link you provided i.e.
TCP Port 443 outbound to the following:
• | orchestration.riscnetworks.com ( 34.192.184.110, 34.192.195.90 ) |
• | initial.riscnetworks.com ( 34.192.43.78, 34.192.198.28) |
• | dataup.riscnetworks.com ( 34.192.12.37, 34.192.197.132 ) |
• | app1.riscnetworks.com (34.192.198.73 ) |
• | Backup & Growth (34.192.99.153, 34.192.185.36) |
About the NTP, it does say local NTP server can be accessed.
Appreciate your insight.
Thanks.
