Hi Anhpham1652, This could be a number of things, but most likely something with the web server, perhaps relating to authentication. Can I suggest you raise an issue with support, and be ready to send these logs (web server)? I think this would be the best approach to resolution. regards,

Hi Cenevoldsen, Could you give a little more info? When you process the Purchase, you can see (1) the Purchases tab in the License container (2) the Purchase moves into Processed Purchases? Then does it go to Deferred without any action? or is it in both Deferred and Processed? This sounds strange. Were there any changes to the License Container itself and are all the dates in the License and purchases current or past (not future). Also, have you (or team) ever manually set the purchase to Deferred?

Hi mdh7768, In the screenshot of the application, the linking and unlinking typically represent when that specific application is discovered on a new device (link) or has been detected as being uninstalled (unlink) on a device. In some cases, when application version updates occur and there are different applications definitions for each version, the device is seen to be unlinked from one application version and linked to another, even though the application name may stay the same. The only difference is that the version has changed. I personally would need more info for Unmanaged/Inactive, but my thoughts are that when a device is unlinked, and it is the last installation of that software on a device, and no other installations exist, it may go from Unmanaged to Inactive (from Installed Applications to All Applications). I can't say with the data you provided. Note, all applications that are discovered will initially be in an Unmanaged state. Hope this helps.

Hi Steve, Looking at your requirement, I feel the only approach that will provide results is to use filtering on the data sources. It is possible to save both Management Views and Management Reports in the solution, and I would suggest have the filters that are active, included in the report name, so that even inexperienced user can see and understand that the data set is filtered. You could also look to incorporate the inventory date information into this filtering, if you have a data source, that is old. Hope this helps,

Hi Anhpham1652, For Application servers, I would suggest you follow a typical backup process for Windows based .Net applications. You can use some of the capabilities that are provided by the Hypervisor (assuming you have virtualised). If not, other backup capabilities can be used. Remember, in most cases, these server are not mission-critical and do not need to be 24x7 available - this should drive your backup strategy. For Beacons, most customers simply take a virtual snapshot of the device on a regular basis (weekly), and recover from these if there is a problem. Most data on the beacon is transient and recreates automatically. If you have some policies and perhaps your staging database on a beacon this should also be ok with snapshots. There are some docs in Community as well as docs.flexera.com that go into this in more detail. You can look into the Best Practice guides too.

Flexera Support will get to the bottom of this no problem - this is a long-standing integration that many customers use. Hi Ebarroso, HAve you checked the validation at the bottom of the link and ensured that the environment is correct in terms of the supported configuration? There are requirements for this integration to work. If you have, and the environment is as it should be, please raise a support ticket to investigate this - our Engineers will get to the bottom of it. Please add the CSV file you have in the validation step as part of the issue.

Hi Ad2024, The updates are cumulative.... DP basically downloads the whole catalog if its not been refreshed in over 4-6 weeks (something like that) and the delta if it below. You cant get specific dates and I don't see why you might want to. I assume you want to see if certain dates or info was updated recently. If so, the API can provide last change dates.

Hi Ganesh, I'm assuming that the user is authenticating with AppBroker as defined here: https://docs.flexera.com/appportal/2021r1/ag/Content/helplibrary/AP_Settings_SSO.htm?Highlight=authentication If the device is a non-work device and receives a software package, then it may not be of concern in licensing terms, for your company. If it is a package that contains data that should not be outside of the company, then this is not the case. In this case, I believe you can use Catalog Security: https://docs.flexera.com/appportal/2021r1/ag/Content/helplibrary/APR_CatSecurity.htm to ensure that the device / user must be a AD member or in a AD group before AppBroker will authorise a deployment. Please review the documentation in the links above.

Hi, We don't have a direct, API-based integration for this app at present, but can nevertheless track usage information as it comes from your SSO (assumes app is in the SSO). This will provide login events so you can view Active, Inactive, and never active users, and make business-relevant decisions based upon this.
