SQL Management Studio

Hello,

Does anyone know why installer evidence for Microsoft SQL Server 2014 (64-bit) is recognized as SQL Server Management Studio 2014 when SQL Server Management Studio 2014 has its own installer evidence? I'm curious to understand how Flexera arrives at this conclusion. I have this for other versions of SQL Server Management Studio, too. Also is there a reason why some of the SQL Server Management Studio do not have a version specified in some of the recognized applications? It shows as Unspecified in the applications on inventoried computers?

Hello,

Your request has been received. We will share an update upon analysis.

Best regards.

Hello,

The mentioned evidence is a part of the SQL Server Management Studio Installation. Hence, we have mapped it to the corresponding product. The changes will be part of the 29th April ARL release.

Thank you for the response. Please can you clarify what you mean by the changes will be part of the April 29th ARL release? What changes are you referring to please? Are you referring to the ones with unspecified versions? Thanks

Hello,

The provided evidence has been added to the SQL Server Management Studio Unspecified version. The changes are a part of the 2803 ARL build.

Thank you.
