Going from installed agent to zero touch inventory gathering

I'm trying to switch a RedHat device from installed agent to zero touch inventory gathering. Have uninstalled the Flexera agent and then deleted /opt/managesoft and /var/opt/managesoft. When I try to run the zero-touch job from the beacon for the device I see this message in the DeviceInventory.log:

Skipped zero touch inventory on this device 'xxxxxxxxx'. The inventory gathering will be performed by locally-installed inventory agent.

What do I need to do to stop this message?

Do you have a target configured which covers the device, and has the following option enabled? Adoption options: Allow these targets to be adopted

If so, I think that may result in the zero touch inventory gathering process skipping the device.

Thanks Chris, disabling adoption did the trick. One other question I have is: Does zero-touch inventory containers?

I don't think zero-touch inventory will gather container details. I expect that will need the installed agent which is able to monitor the running Docker environment.
