Known Issue: "ApplicationsByFileEvidence" or "Create temp table ApplicationsByFileEvidence" steps may run slowly on SQL Server 2019 unless compatibility level on the compliance database is set to 110 (SQL Server 2012) or earlier (IOK-703164)

Summary

Significant performance issues may affect reconcile time, especially during the ApplicationsByFileEvidence step, when using FlexNet Manager Suite with SQL server 2019. 

Reproduction

A new install of FlexNet Manager Suite with a set of demo data and SQL 2019 in default compatibility mode was measured to take over 3 hours to complete reconcile, with the ApplicationsByFileEvidence step taking over two hours to complete.  Once the compatibility mode was set to 2012, subsequent reconcile completed in 12 minutes.

Workaround

Set the SQL database compatibility mode to 110 (SQL 2012). See View or change the compatibility level of a database for assistance.

Fix status

This issue is still open but not currently scheduled to be addressed.
