Known Issue: Inventory records related to AWS terminated instances are continually deleted and recreated when running import processes, leading to a large volume of history data (IOJ-2234347)
Summary
After an AWS instance is terminated, each time the import process runs an inventory device record will be created and deleted for the terminated instance.
Details
This behavior can result in a large volume of history data being generated, using unnecessary database storage space. This data is stored in the ComplianceHistory_MT table in the compliance database.
Fix status
This issue has been fixed in the following FlexNet Manager Suite releases: 2021 R1.4 / Mar 2022 (Cloud), 2022 R1 (On Premises)
