Need to reset report email address used with Cognos Report Designer. This address is used to email reports to different departments and users.
Discussion
The email address can be verified and updated using the Cognos Configurator tool, the following steps can used to verify the address used.
-Locate the "fnhccfg.bat in the default directory <InstallDIR>c10\bin folder and run this as Administrator.
-Expand theData Access > Notification section you can verify the mail server and the account details used.
-If an update is needed save the changes and restart the IBM Cognos Service by using Play/Stop button on the top right.
The "fnhccfg.bat is for Report Designer 15.2, for version 15.5 the file is called cogconfig.bat, but the process remains the same.
