When using the SAP portal can the ?Recalculate License Position ? task be scheduled in addition to being ran manually?
Question
When new data such has landscape or consumption information is imported into the SAP Portal using the SAPReader.exe the license position needs to be recalculated to view the updated compliance information. This can be done by selecting the ?Recalculate License Position? task on the ?Current Position? link from within the Portal, but can this be scheduled?

Answer
The ?Recalculate License Position? can be scheduled by enabling the following scheduled task on the Admin server ?Import SAP user and activity information?, this task is disabled by default.
Additional Information
In addition to the scheduled task the SAPReader.exe has several switches that can be used, the ?-l? switch can be used to recalculate the license position. Other switches that can be used with the SAPReader.exe can be found by passing the ??h? switch on the command line to the reader executable.
