Summary
This article describes supported file types which can be attached to "Asset", "Contract", Purchase" and "License" as "Documents".
Synopsis
FlexNet Manager Suite allows the following file types to be attached in the
Documents for
Asset,
Contract,
Purchase and
License.
'.txt','.xml','.rtf','.pdf','.doc','.docx','.xls','.xlsx','.jpg','.gif','.png','.zip','.bmp','.tif','.tiff','.csv','.7z','.tar','.gz'
'.msg' is not supported in
FlexNet Manager Suite, therefore a mail (
'.msg') file cannot be attached to the
Documents.
Discussion
FlexNet Manager Platform 9.2 or before supported to attach '
.msg' files.
If the
FlexNet Manager Suite was migrated from
FlexNet Manager Platform 9.x, existing
'.msg' attachements can be downloaded. If you want to attach a '.
msg' file in
FlexNet Manager Suite, please zip it and then attach the zipped '
.zip' file.
Additional Information
Enhancement Request #FNMS-32576 has been submitted to support '.msg' attachments.
At the moment there is no commitment to implement this enhancement in a future release.
