Summary
When the Windows locale settings is set to some languages (eg Danish) on the application server or the database server the one-off upload of enterprise data fails
Symptoms
When attempting to import a one-off data import, the error returned is
ERROR - Text file specification field separator matches decimal separator or text delimiter.
Cause
FlexNet Manager Suite does not correctly handle the scenario when the data separator and/or the currency setting do not match the US English settings. These imports may use ; vs , as CSV-separator and , vs. . when it comes to separating currency values in thousands or after the integer part of the currency.
Workaround
Perform the following on the server where the Batch Processor is installed and running:
1. Open Control panel
2. Click on the Clock, Language and Region option
3. Click the Region option
4. On the Formats tab change the Format option to English (United States)
