Summary

This article provides a list of reports that are available out of the box for FlexNet Manager for Engineering Applications.

Synopsis

We've got an issue with one of teams using our FNM-EA system, which each beginning of the month they have to run a classic report with a whole month Usage Summary from three particular Vendor Daemons. The report logs from these daemons are huge and its reports normally run for 20-24 hours. Since the Report Designer runs much faster than this and better designed, I was wondering if you guys have any XML report template to import into Cognos with monthly Usage Summary same way as the Classic Report does.

Unfortunately we don't have any XML report templates, however the Report Designer 15.5 R1 package does come with predefined reports that may provide what you require:

Feature-Based Reports:
? Feature Chargeback Report
? Feature Usage by Organization Table Report
? Feature Usage Table Report
? Feature Peak Usage Trend Report
? Organization Total Usage Chart Report
? Peak Usage by Organization Over Time Report
? Peak Usage by Server Over Time Report
? Peak Borrowed Licenses by Feature
? Peak Borrowed Licenses vs. Total Peak Licenses
? Users with Borrowed Licenses List


Product-Based reports:
? Product Chargeback Report
? Product Daily Peak Usage Report
? Product Peak Usage Occurrences Report
? Product Peak Usage Report
? Product Peak Usage Trend (Remix) Report

There are also Tier-Based and Token-Based reports available. For more information on each of the reports, please refer to the FlexNet Report Designer Guide for your version of the product.

If none of the above are suitable, a custom report will need to be built to meet your requirements. This can either be done by yourselves or if you wish we could send a request to our services team for this, however there may be a charge.
