Discussion

Normally, settings from a previous installation would persist when upgrading the beacon.

There are three configuration files from beacon under:
\ProgramData\Flexera Software\Beacon
-ActiveSAPSystemLandscapes.xml
-SAPSystemLandscape.xml
-config.xml

These can be copied and restored if required.
