I've done some searching to try to find any references to an error like this occurring previously or a possible reason for it, but couldn't find anything sorry. The error message feels like something about the reporting subsystem may not be installed properly - maybe a missing file, or a missing path. You might find some more details about what is going on by inspecting log files on the reporting server and seeing whether any logging is generated around the same time as you see this error in the UI.
