How FNMS 2023 R1 recognizes SaaS application

Hello Team,

It has been identified, that for below Broadcom Publisher  application, we are not exactly sure about where these apps are hosted.

Do we need to get installer evidence from Broadcom application team and troubleshoot further. Please guide how to investigate further to know the installation information to finalize the application hosted on On-Premise or cloud,

2 Questions:
How FNMS 2023 R1 On-Prem recognizes SaaS applications
How to identify below Broadcom applications whether it is hosted on Cloud or On-Prem Platform

thanks.

Please help in knowing where these apps are hosted

Hello Team,

Can anyone please provide an update on this, thanks.

  • How FNMS 2023 R1 On-Prem recognizes SaaS applications
    • "True SaaS applications" may not leave any footprint that can be picked up by inventory on the devices, i.e., if end-users merely consume these SaaS apps through their browser based UIs.
  • How to identify below Broadcom applications whether it is hosted on Cloud or On-Prem Platform
    • The applications seem to be Tanium applications, not Broadcom's, please elaborate further on what you're looking for application recognition wise.

Thanks,
