FlexNet Beacon Password Manager

We have a Windows Role ID setup in Password Manager to grant access to our vCenters. Security have mandated a password change.

Is it okay to simply change the password in Password Manager or are additional configuration steps required?

Also,  can FlexNet Beacon Password Manager handle 16 character passwords?

Hi Mark,

I am not completely sure how many characters the Beacon password field can hold, but I am pretty sure 16 shouldn't be an issue.

From the FNMS perspective, changing it in the Beacon Password Manager should be enough. But of course, the password must be changed in AD as well.
