Does The 2023R2 Windows Inventory Agent Automatically Kick Off a Full Inventory When Installed?

Does the 2023R2 Windows version of the Flexnet Inventory Agent automatically kick of a full inventory after it is installed or do you still need to add an entry to mgssetup.ini to do that (i.e. RUNCMDARGS = /C start ndtrack -t Machine -o Upload=True -o UploadLocation=....)?

You need to use the parameters to kick off the file upload to the beacon server.

So the inventory collection is automatic after installation but the upload is not?

Hi @mfeinman , 

The Inventory agent collection and upload is automatic once the schedule is downloaded on the clients/servers. However if you need an immediate kick off of the collection of inventory and upload once the agent is installed then you need to use the parameters in mgssetup.ini file.
