FlexNet Manager Platform / Suite – SKU, PURL & Bundle updates (Release #527)

The SKU, Product Use Rights Libraries (PURL) and Bundles libraries, used by FlexNet Manager Suite have been updated. For on premise customers the SKU/PURL/Bundles libraries have been published and are now available.

Customers of FlexNet Manager Suite Cloud will have this update applied by the Recognition Data Import task and will be available on Monday, October 2^nd 2023 in your time zone.

What's new in this release?

• 1,660 new SKUs have been added to the SKU library. The following table provides an overview of the number of SKUs with respect to publisher:

• 1,046 SKUs are mapped to its respective applications.

• 800+ SKUs have been updated.
• 51 new custom FLX SKUs – 1 Adobe, 33 BMC and 15 Microsoft SKUs have been created and released to supplement FSM workflow for the respective products and cater to customer requests. SKUs details are available in attached spreadsheet 'CustomFlexeraSKUsForSeptember2023.xlsx'.
• Updated the bundle ‘Quest Toad for DB2-DBA Suite Edition’ with the below changes –
• Updated the bundle name from ‘Toad for DB2-DBA Edition’
• ‘Benchmark Factory for Databases 8.4’ application is added as primary app.
•  ‘Spotlight on DB2 for LUW 6.9’ was added instead of ‘Spotlight on DB2 for LUW 6.7’
• Mapped 2 new SKUs to the bundle.
• Updated the bundle ‘Autodesk AutoCAD’ with below changes.
• Updated the bundle name from ‘Autodesk AutoCAD 2020’ to ‘Autodesk AutoCAD’.
• Replaced all the primary and secondary applications from 2020 version applications to the latest 2024 applications.
• Mapped 763 more SKUs to the bundle.
• Updated 926 SKUs to align with the same.
• Updated the bundle ‘IBM Cloud Pak for Multicloud Management’ with the below changes. 
• Marked all the supporting programs mentioned in IBM Terms as secondary as they were previously marked primary to have visibility on ratios.
• The supporting programs are set as ‘MeasuredForCompliance’.

• Library information are as follows:
• Total number of SKUs in the library is 2,047,737 across 1,557 publishers.
• Total number of PURL templates is 4,921 across 49 publishers.
• Total number of published Bundles is 4,513 across 22 publishers.

How can I verify that my SKU Library has been updated?

You can inspect the changed data in the SKU Library with the SKU Library Update Report. The regular schedule for SKU/PURL updates

We expect the next update to the PURL & SKU Library to be available on Friday, October 20^th 2023. The libraries are available as soon as published and are updated daily via the Recognition Data Import task, or as otherwise reflected in your local configuration. Customers of FlexNet Manager Suite Cloud will have this update applied by Monday, October 23^rd 2023 in your time zone.

The SKU/PURL library updates can be downloaded from the Flexera Product and Licensing Center (PLC 2.0).
