FlexNet Manager Platform / Suite – SKU, PURL & Bundle updates (Release #514)

The SKU, Product Use Rights Libraries (PURL) and Bundles libraries, used by FlexNet Manager Suite have been updated. For on premise customers the SKU/PURL/Bundles libraries have been published and are now available.

Customers of FlexNet Manager Suite Cloud will have this update applied by the Recognition Data Import task and be available on Monday, Nov 28^th 2022 in your time zone.

What's new in this release?

• 4,767 new SKUs have been added. The following table provides an overview of the number of SKUs with respect to publisher:

• 1,261 SKUs are now mapped to its respective applications.
  
  
• Microsoft Visio and Project online SKUs have been refreshed. 113 SKUs are now linked to ‘Visio Online for 365’ application and 15 SKUs are linked to ‘Project Online for 365’ application.
  
  
• 35 new custom SKUs have been created and released for selected few products to complement other product changes.

• Refreshed ‘Adobe Creative Cloud for Enterprise’ and ‘Adobe Creative Cloud for Teams’ bundles with latest applications and SKUs. SKU-ARL mapping has been made consistent for the mapped SKUs. We now have 1,294 and 2,851 SKUs mapped to each of these bundles respectively.
  
  
• A new bundle for ‘Quest Toad for Oracle DBA Suite RAC’ has been released with few missing applications.
  
  
• Updated 4 bundles with 14 new SKU mappings -

• 52 new Veritas core points have been added according to vendor literature.

• Library information are as follows:
• Total number of SKUs in the library is 2,002,777 across 1,418 publishers.
• Total number of PURL templates is 4,227 across 49 publishers.
• Total number of published Bundles is 4,492 across 21 publishers.

How can I verify that my SKU Library has been updated?

You can inspect the changed data in the SKU Library with the SKU Library Update Report. The regular schedule for SKU/PURL updates

We expect the next update to the PURL & SKU Library to be available on Friday, December 23^rd, 2022. The libraries are available as soon as published and are updated daily via the Recognition Data Import task, or as otherwise reflected in your local configuration. Customers of FlexNet Manager Suite Cloud will have this update applied by Monday, December 26^th 2022 in your time zone.

Downloading the SKU/PURL Libraries Manually

The SKU/PURL library updates can be downloaded from the Flexera Product and Licensing Center (PLC 2.0).
