AdminStudio 2021 R2 Service Pack 1 – a minor yet important release with the following enhancements is out today.
Custom Distribution System
AdminStudio supports many popular endpoint management systems like Microsoft ConfigMgr, Intune, VMware Workspace ONE, etc, for publishing applications from the application catalog. The new Custom Distribution System feature provides a framework for publishing applications to an endpoint management system not supported out-of-the-box in AdminStudio. When publishing to a Custom Distribution System, the selected package will be first copied to the configured shared path and then the specified PowerShell script will be executed. The PowerShell script can perform any action, which may include importing the copied package into any endpoint management system.
Microsoft Updates
- Test application compatibility of your packages in the catalog against the new Windows 11 21H2 and Windows 10 21H2.
- Publish applications from your catalog to the new ConfigMgr 2111.
