How can I create a silent install without using a command line argument like /qn? I want to set the UILevel within the MSI itself. I assume it goes in the property table somewhere.

I'm not sure there's an easy built-in way to make an installation completely silent without using an external switch; the closest thing that comes to mind is defining the LIMITUI property in the Property table, which limits the UI level to basic...

So, do I just add the LIMITUI property into the property table? What would the value be set to? 1?

Yes, just add LIMITUI to the Property table with value 1.

In general, you can use the MSI Help Library to see what possible values there are for a property. If the help page just says "if this property is set", you can set it to anything (most seem to choose 1).
